Naini Lake

Nainital Lake, famously known as Naini Lake is the major attraction of Naintal town as well of Uttarakhand. Surrounded by panoramic seven hills, Nainital lake is a favourite spot among romantic travellers around the world. It is one of the most visited lakes in India.

Naina Devi Temple

A well known Shakti Peeths of Hindu religion, Naini Devi Temple is sacred place of great devotion in Nainital. Goddess Naini Devi is the diety of Naini Devi Temple and located at northern end of famous Nainital Lake. Goddess in this holy temple is represented by her two eyes. Devotees from far away place comes here to take blessing of Maa Naina Devi. The temple is located atop the Naina hillock near the Naini Lake, and draws thousands of devotees every year. There are many shops in close proximity to the Naina Devi Temple from where one can buy the prasad and pooja items.

Nainital Zoo

Nainital Zoo is one of the best attraction for wildlife lovers in Nainital. Officially named as Bharat Ratna Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant High Altitude Zoo Nainital, this well maintained zoo is the single zoo in entire Uttarakhand state. Covering a small green area of 4.693 Hectares, Nainital Zoo is the home of numerous endangered species, many of which are adopted by people and animal organizations. This high altitude zoo is located at an height of 2100 mtrs which makes this zoo a favourable place for many animals and birds. Locally called as 'Sher ka Danda', Nainital Zoo is located at hill slope in Nainital.

The Mall Road

A busiest road in day time, The Mall runs side by side of the Nainital Lake. Britishers constructed The Mall Road which passes through the centre of Nainital and connects two main ends of Nainital city, Mallital and Tallital. Inspite officially renamed as Govind Ballabh Pant Marg, the Mall road still locally called and famous by its previous name.
